Introduction to Financial Literacy 101

Designed specifically for Initial Teacher Education students, Financial Literacy 101 modules address 9 Graduate Focus Areas of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and will help you be classroom ready.

This resource has two parts:

1. Financial Literacy 101A

(approximately 1 hour)

Designed to establish a clear understanding of financial literacy; it's relevance to teaching and the Australian Curriculum. It also includes exercises to assist with the Initial Teacher Education Literacy & Numeracy test.

2. Financial Literacy 101B

(approximately 1 hour)

Builds on the learnings from 101A and has a more practical focus providing classroom tools and resources to better prepare you for your professional experience placement and future teaching career.
